Présentation de l'éditeur

When the musical episode 'Once More With Feeling' was screened for the first time on Sky One early in 2002 reaction from UK fans was instant and overwhelming. "A new contender for the best episode of Buffy..." "absolutely superb" and simply "brilliant" were typical fan reactions on the letters pages of magazines such as SFX and the official Buffy magazine.
The critics agreed. "...destined to become a legendary episode...", said the Times. "...a delight, lovingly packed with old-school Hollywood magic", said the Sunday Times. "A triumph even by this series heights...If you watch nothing else this week, WATCH THIS" said the Evening Standard.
Buffy creator Joss Whedon has surpassed himself with the musical masterpiece that is 'Once More With Feeling', in which the residents of Sunnydale are visited by a demon who takes sadistic delight in forcing his victims to express themselves in song. In the process, Buffy and her friends are made to reveal inner secrets which would otherwise have remained unspoken, leading to humour, high drama and sometimes moments of poignancy and grief.
Not least of his achievements is that Whedon wrote both lyrics and music for the entire episode, despite having never written songs before. Now this facsmile edition of the original shooting script -- with the added bonus of sheet music and a colour photo insert from the show -- gives every Buffy fan the chance to appreciate this extraordinary creation in all its exuberant detail.
