Joel Rosenberg is a top-selling writer of both heroic fantasy and military science fiction. His first sale was an op-ed piece appearing in The New York Times. His Guardians of the Flame novels have been bestsellers, and given him a large readership in fantasy. His science fiction novels, including Ties of Blood, Emile and the Dutchman, Not for Glory, and Hero, have been equally popular and received critical acclaim. Many of his novels have been Science Fiction Book Club selections. He and his wife and daughters make their home in Minneapolis.
