Synopsis

As a sequel to the original survival horror game, Silent Hill 2 brings players back to the eerie town in a new story with several new characters. Players assume the role of James, who received a cryptic letter from his dead wife, instructing him to return to Silent Hill. Unable to resist the baffling occurrence, James returns to the mysterious town and becomes involved in a series of gruesome events. There will be many puzzles to solve using a variety of tools, along with over 10 disturbing monsters to battle with many new weapons (including a pistol and steel pipe). In addition, players will explore parts of the town that were closed off in the original game--dark deserted hospitals, eerie lakes, and creepy forests. The game is being hailed for its amazing features including incredible graphics, true-to-life computer generated visuals, dynamic camera effects, and beautifully rendered environments that add to the cinematic horror experience.
