Will Ba brush his teeth? Nah. Will he go to bed? Nah. He plays up, as children will do, until George bawls, "get into bed!". Bartholomew does, but soon he's giggling and wriggling, cuddling and snuggling, sighing and yawning and, finally, falling asleep. Virginia Miller, who also publishes under the name Virginia Austin, has also written "Squeak-a-lot", which was runner-up for the Mother Goose Award in 1991. She has since illustrated "Sailor Bear" and her own story "Say Please!", and two more stories about Bartholomew and George, "On Your Potty" and "Eat Your Dinner!"
