À propos de l?auteur
Yu Rong was born and raised in China. While training to become a primary school teacher she discovered her love for art, and later gained a BA degree in Decorative Art from Nanjing University. She worked as a computer designer, arts and crafts designer and children's book illustrator for five years before moving to England with her now husband. She then earned an MA degree in art and design from the Royal College of Art in London. She says of A Lovely Day for Amelia Goose: "Much in this book was inspired by the birth of our first daughter, Hannah. Amelia Goose is a little, happy, energetic, active, innocent creature, much like Hannah."
