She says of The Waterstone, "When Josh, my eldest son, was six, he invented Pondleweed, a magical caretaker of trees, streams and frog ponds. From that came the entire world of The Waterstone, and all the people, places and magic in it." Rebecca Rupp lives with her husband, three sons, three cats, four fish and a tarantula in an old farmhouse in Vermont, USA.
