Synopsis

Best-selling poet Steve Turner creates a child's-eye view of the changing scenes and events through the course of a day and a night. The poems follow the framework of the 24-hour clock and feature both predictable and unexpected subjects. As always, they are full of surprises, humour, insight and real child-appeal. 'Steve Turner is one of the most original and child-friendly voices to emerge in the last few years.' The Sunday Telegraph, Children's Poetry Review 'It's full of the quirky humour and strong rhymes that kids adore.' Brian Patten, reviewing 'The Day I Fell Down the Toilet'
