An inspirational poem for every day of the week.Poems to Help You Through the Week is designed to be used flexibly in a range of situations, whether you're struggling to get out of bed on Monday morning or in survival mode until the weekend comes round again; looking for a quiet moment in a busy day or searching for words to express how you're feeling; happy or sad or pondering the meaning of life. Drawn from a variety of well-known (John Donne, Emily Dickinson, R.S. Thomas, Elizabeth Jennings) and less familiar sources, and consciously clear and accessible in style and presentation, the poems are arranged in seven sections, one for each day of the week. Within each section is a variety of poems to suit different moods and occasions, spanning a broad spectrum of human experience. Also available: Prayers to Help You Through the Week (November 2003)
