Synopsis

Formula One is the world's most glamorous sport, attracting a huge following, but few come to know what is really going on behind the scenes. Louise Goodman, the UK's only female Formula One TV presenter, has been working in the sport for many years now, and her race-by-race diary of the season gives a fascinating glimpse of the characters and incidents that shaped the 2000 campaign. Not only do the stars like Schumacher, Hakkinen and Coulthard come in for close scrutiny, Goodman also reveals what it is like working alongside the voice of the sport, Murray Walker.
