Maxim Jakubowski opened the Murder One bookshop in London in 1988 and writes, edits and publishes in many areas of genre fiction. He is an adviser to several international film festivals, writes for a variety of publications including the Observer, the Big Issue and the Guardian, and reviews crime in Time Out. He is also a winner of the the Anthony Award.
