Synopsis

Mr Twiddle is a kind soul with the best intentions, but he is extremely forgetful, very lazy and more than a little bit silly. One day he thinks he is in for a bit of luck when he finds a new suit under a bush and convinces himself there are coins magically appearing as he cuts the grass.

A propos du livre

Biographie de l'auteur

Enid Blyton (1897-1968) is the world's best-selling children's author and has sold 600 million books internationally. Best known for her exceptional young readers' novels where recurring groups of children seek mystery and adventure, she presents a world of exciting events, often with little or no adult supervision. With children taking centre stage, generation after generation have fallen for her timeless appeal, and she was voted the nation's most loved writer at the 2008 Costa Book Awards.

Présentation de l'éditeur

Despite trying his best to be helpful and kind, Mr Twiddle only causes problems and confusion: he forgets his New Year's Resolution (which is not to forget anything), locks a goose in his dog's kennel, and reports his front door as stolen. Despite making so many silly mistakes, it seems that Mr Twiddle will never learn from them.
