Synopsis

This collection brings together contributions which address issues and debates within contemporary women's studies and feminism. Mary Kennedy is Senior Lecturer in Women's Studies in the Centre for Extra Mural Studies at Birbeck College London., Cathy Lubelska is Principal Lecturer in Social History and Women's Studies at the University of Central Lancashire. Val Walsh has just left her post as Course Leader for Communication Studies, Convener for new Women's Studies degree programme. She is now a freelance writer, researcher and consultant.
