Synopsis

This is a practical text presenting methodology for structured parallel program design. The main concern of this text is to introduce and examine factors which will improve general performance and program design in parallel computing. The central part of the text is the description of the P3L methodology for efficient parallel software development. In the final part of the book some practical illustrations of this methodology are presented, covering a number of problem structures.
