Global financial crisis, global environmental crisis -- what connects them? Stuart Sim is currently Visiting Professor in the Department of English and Creative Writing at Northumbria University and retired Professor of Critical Theory in the English Department at the University of Sunderland. His work, including eight of his books, has been translated into a total of 17 languages. With a background in critical theory, literary studies, and philosophy, Prof. Sim's work is interdisciplinary in nature and has consistently been commended by reviewers for its range as well as its accessibility. Prof. Sim was elected a Fellow of the English Association in 2002.
