Synopsis
Quantum mechanics is notoriously difficult to understand for students with no prior knowledge of quantum theory. This book overcomes that difficulty, providing a clear, concise and very readable introduction. Although the subject matter is standard, novel techniques have been employed that considerably simplify the technical presentation. The authors use their extensive experience in teaching and popularizing science to explain the many abstract points of the subject in comprehensible language. Helpful examples and exercise sets are included to help students to master the subject.
