Synopsis
At the end of 1960, Filip Kobal decides to go in search of an older missing brother whom he has never known. What he discovers when he crosses the border from Austria into Slovenia is not so much a person as a whole history and culture. Previous novels by Handke include "Hornets" and "Across".
