Synopsis
The "Handbook" is targeted at the 5000 plus health practices in the UK which have opted out of the NHS in order to become independent contractors. Management techniques, taken for granted by people in the business world, are not generally taught in medical school or picked up in the daily pressure of caring for patients. As these GPs will have little knowledge of arranging their own business affairs, the "Health Practice Management Handbook" aims to provide a clear reference source and practical guide to running these health practices.
