Tony Atherton has over 30 years' experience of training and education, helping thousands of delegates in a variety of subjects. His courses cover various types of business writing, negotiation skills and time management, all presented at clients' premises.
He has worked independently since 1997, at first through large national training providers but now entirely thorough his own company. His earlier career included the Royal Navy, GEC-Marconi, the University of Hong Kong and the Independent Broadcasting Authority (IBA) and he was formerly the training manager at NTL.
He has also inspected training on behalf of the Training Standards Council and the Adult Learning Inspectorate. He has written four books and over 90 articles.
