Synopsis

Each chapter starts with a do-it-yourself step-by-step example, and is followed by a number of fun and 'magic' experiments. This book first asks the question 'what is a plant?' What follows is then a detailed observation of roots, stems, leaves, flowers, fruits and seeds and plants and sunlight. The book ends with a section on germination, the cycle of matter and the importance of plants in our world.
