Synopsis

A fun and engaging illustrated book about Zoe and her magic lemonade for Egmont’s Blue Banana series, written by Joyce Dunbar and illustrated by Jan McCafferty who has illustrated many books by Enid Blyton.

With her tablecloth gown and clothes-peg crown, Zoe looks like a Queen. But she needs magic lemonade to convince her friends.

Blue bananas are illustrated books for NC Level 2 readers learning to tackle longer prose for the first time with the support of extensive illustrations and speech bubbles. They are carefully designed with education in mind, supporting children’s understanding of vocabulary and punctuation. Blue Bananas explore the feelings and emotions of characters in a clear fashion.

À propos des auteurs

We all need a bit of magic in our lives. Working with fabulous illustrators, Joyce creates her own magic - with the even more magical thought that her stories have been enjoyed in many languages by children worldwide. Joyce's stories will make you laugh, cry, think, ask questions, go to sleep – and best of all -help you to create your own stories. She thinks that stories have the magic power to help you shape and understand your own life - and to make it better.

Children may not be able to explore the big wide world out there, but the world inside their heads is just as exciting - with a sprinkling of imagination.
