The Seventeenth International Conference on the Physics of Electronic and Atomic Collisions was held in Brisbane, Australia, on 10-16 July 1991. This volume contains the invited papers presented at ICPEAC XVII by leading international researchers, including the opening lecture by R W Crompton on the early development of atomic collision physics in Australia.
