Michael Stacey is a practising architect and Partner at Brookes Stacey Randall [www.bsr-architects.com] and has been designing component based architecture for twenty years. He studied at University of Liverpool School of Architecture. and qualified as an architect whilst design composite metal panels systems for RVP, now ame [www.amefacades.com]. Having worked on the Hong Kong and Shanghai Bank and the Renault Centre with Norman Foster and colleagues. This experience has widened since Michael Stacey founded Brookes Stacey Randall in 1987. Projects include East Croydon Station, Thames Water Tower, Enschede Integrated Interchange and Expertex Textile Centrum.Michael undertakes research as a part practice at Brookes Stacey Randall and is a visiting research professor at University of Waterloo, Ontario. A current research project is Polymers as a Construction Material [www.polymercomposites.co.uk], which is being undertaken with BRE [www.bsr-architects.com]
