(See Page 117)'. On page number 117 is a photograph of William Whiffin (1878-1957). The sister mentioned above is the daughter of William Whiffin and is mentioned in the Ackowledgements as having helped, Gladys Manister. William Whiffin who was born in Poplar, the son of W H Whiffin, photographer. Together his father and brother Ernest opened a photography studio at 237 East India Dock Road. The first few pages were loose and have been re-attached in the book. A very good copy of a SCARCE first edition, first printing SIGNED BY THE AUTHOR, ROSEMARY TAYLOR.
