Christopher Sandford has written 20 books, including four cricket titles. His 2009 biography of Imran Khan was short-listed for the Sports Book of the Year award, and was runner-up in the MCC Cricket Book of the Year award. His biography of the late American rock star Kurt Cobain is currently being filmed. His 2011 joint biography of Arthur Conan Doyle and Harry Houdini has been bought by the BBC.
