Re-enactment groups have mushroomed in the United States and Canada, New Zealand, Great Britain and continental Europe. Erik Roth attended the University of California at Berkeley. He is a lifelong medieval enthusiast, an archery specialist, and a member of the archery group Saint Hubert's Rangers. He has written for Primitive Archer magazine and makes authentic Longbows. He lives in Ontario.
