Synopsis

From the founders of the cult website *hitflap.com, comes this truly original humour book featuring an array of unique characters including Mr Tourette, the fantastically obnoxious sign painter. A cross between South Park and Viz, Modern Toss is not for the faint-hearted. The mixture of incredibly rude humour and excellent design makes the whole package a great gift item (for friends who share the same sense of humour!) Already a word-of-mouth cult phenomenon, Modern Toss is a laugh out loud work of comic genius. It says the things you wanted to, but didn't feel would be appropriate, to hilarious effect.

A propos du livre

À propos de l'auteur

Jon Link and Mick Bunnage first worked together on the Modern Toss prototype cartoon strip 'Office Pest' for Loaded magazine in the mid 90's. Ten years later, during which time Jon designed Jack Magazine and art directed 'Content' for Taschen, the Toss empire was born. Jon and Mick, who share drawing and writing duties throughout the comic, now regularly contribute cartoons to a broad range of publications including The Guardian and the Daily Mirror. They have also developed Modern Toss into a TV series for Channel 4. They are both from Essex.
