Penelope Brook-Foster compiled the book from the archives of Dudley Studios Ltd, professional photographers of Rochester, Kent. Her husband was photographer and director, but he died in 2002 and the business had to close. His legacy is the thousands of photographs dating from 1945. Penelope lives in Rochester.
