Hannah Wilson has edited and ghost-written children's books, both non-fiction and fiction, for over ten years, and also writes in her own name, including several books in the Flip the Flaps series. Her first love is animals, and she has penned books about puppies, wildlife photographers and reptiles. When she is not reading or writing, Hannah likes to get out of London in her campervan and climb rocks.

Dr Mike Goldsmith has a PhD in astrophysics from Keele University, awarded for research into variable supergiant stars and cosmic dust formation. Since 1999, Mike has written over 40 science books for children and adults. He is a co-author of The Encyclopedia of Everything.

John Butler has been illustrating children’s books for 30 years. He is particularly recognized for his animal illustrations, for which he has won a number of awards in the UK and the USA., John Butler has written and directed award-winning shorts for the Irish Film Board and directed and co-wrote the 6-part TV sketch show Your Bad Self. He is an occasional columnist and interviewer for the Irish Times and his writing has appeared in the Dublin Review, the San Francisco Chronicle and on NPR. John lives in London.
