The author chronicles the making of each film individually, detailing censorship problems and instances when the team went beyond the realms of publicly acceptable taste. He also includes reviews, press campaigns and box office gross figures. Interviews with Sid James, Kenneth Williams and Peter Butterworth are included along with pictures taken on the sets of all the films. The various TV series and specials that were made in the 1970s are also featured.
