Jeremy Strong has been writing for children for many years and, until recently, combined this with being a primary school headteacher. He has a rapidly growing reputation as an author and won the 1997 Children's Book Award for THE HUNDRED-MILE-AN-HOUR DOG. He was shortlisted for the Award in 1998 for MY GRANNY'S GREAT ESCAPE. Jeremy lives in Wrotham, Kent.
Witts End Primary School is definitely at its wits' end when it calls on Miss Pandemonium to look after unruly Class 5. But Miss Pandemonium soon realises that her battle isn't with the children, it's with Mrs Earwigger, the deputy head - she will stop at nothing to defeat Pirate Pandemonium and her class of swashbuckling shipmates!
