Loyita Worley is Head of Library, Information and Knowledge Management at Richards Butler, a major international law firm. Within a year of joining the British and Irish Association of Law Librarians (BIALL), Loyita became Membership Secretary, a post she held for six years. She has also served on various BIALL committees and represented the association on the Information and Library Services Lead Body setting up non-vocational qualifications for the sector. She was Chair of BIALL in 1997-98 and Chair of the Publications Committee from 2002-2005. Author of articles for Legal Information Management, Solicitors Journal, Business Law Review and the Law Society's Gazette amongst others, Loyita Worley has spoken at various KM conferences and was project manager for the Richards Butler team, which was successful in winning the Legal IT Best Knowledge Management Project award in 2002. Loyita also won the Information Services Director of the Year award at the 2004 E-Loties.
