Biographie de l'auteur

Peter J. Davies has had a lifelong passion for trucks, beginning with a 29-year career in the marketing department of Bedford, General Motors' UK truck division. He has since been a regular contributor to a number of leading transport magazines as well as writing several books on trucks and illustrating book jackets and calendars depicting historic trucks. He has been president of the Commercial Vehicle & Road Transport Club, the leading UK club for truck enthusiasts, and he founded the annual Classic Commercial Motor Show. He owns a number of old trucks, including an AEC Mammoth Major eight wheeler and a rare Maudslay Meritor eight wheeler, and has been truck consultant to a major die-cast model manufacturer. John Carroll has been fascinated by tractors and vintage vehicles for many years. He is a full-time motoring journalist and photographer who regularly contributes to various enthusiast magazines, such as the American Jp magazine, and two British four-wheel drive publications, Land Rover World and Off Road & 4 Wheel Drive. John has written a number of books on all aspects of transport.
