Hardcover. Etat : Good. Etat de la jaquette : Good. English Steel Rain is the debut thriller by British journalist and author Tom Neale, published in 2005. The story follows FBI agent Vincent Piper, who is stationed in London and becomes directly affected by a terrorist bombing at a bookshop on Charing Cross Road, where his daughter is killed. Devastated by the loss, Piper begins a relentless personal pursuit of those responsible. As he follows the trail, the investigation leads him toward radical anti-capitalist groups and reveals a broader and more complex conspiracy. The novel combines a personal revenge narrative with elements of political intrigue and counter-terrorism, reflecting the atmosphere of the early twenty-first century when fiction often explored fears surrounding international terrorism, ideological extremism, and the difficult moral questions faced by security services and individuals seeking justice.
