Debora Pearson studied literature at the University of Toronto and received her master’s degree in library science from that institution’s Faculty of Library and Information Science. After a stint at the Toronto Public Library and in educational publishing with the children’s magazine OWL, where she served as editor, she became a children’s book author. Her books include the DK Reader Polar Bear Alert!
