Dominic Roskrow has written about whisky for almost two decades and about the drinks industry for more than 25 years. He is the author of Whisky: Malt Whiskies of Scotland, Gin: A Guide to the World's Greatest Gins, and Whisky Japan: The Essential Guide to the World's Most Exotic Whisky.

Gavin D. Smith is an author and editor who specializes in writing about whiskey. He has written more than 20 books, including Whiskey Opus, Goodness Nose, The A-Z of Whisky, Whisky Wit & Wisdom,  The Whisky Men, The Secret Still, The Scottish Smuggler, Ardbeg: A Peaty Provenance, and Whisky: A Brief History. Smith has collaborated with famous alcohol journalist Michael Jackson on many titles.
