Called, Equipped, Sent provides pastors with a practical framework for identifying, training, and releasing future ministers from within the local church. Drawing from decades of pastoral experience, Derald R. Weber addresses the full development process, from recognizing a call to ministry to building character, spiritual disciplines, preaching skills, accountability, and hands-on experience. The book includes twelve lessons designed for a year-long ministry training process, along with guidance for pastors, discussion questions, practical action steps, accountability tools, and sample ministry resources. Topics include calling, service, submission, excellence, core ministry values, homiletics, preaching mannerisms, and the sacred responsibility of preaching. Designed for pastors, ministry mentors, and aspiring ministers, Called, Equipped, Sent helps churches create an intentional pathway for developing faithful, prepared, and spiritually grounded leaders who can serve, preach, lead, and be sent into ministry.
