The author of six previous Speed Secrets books, Vancouver, Canada’s Ross Bentley is a former Indy Car driver and winner of the U.S. Road Racing Championship. Today, he is a professional driving coach who works with drivers at every level of racing, from karting to the IRL.

Per Schroeder is Technical Editor at Grassroots Motorsports and Classic Motorsports magazines, a vocation that has led to the word “schroeder” being added to our lexicon. As used, for example, in the sentence, “Well, ya really shcroedered that up, didncha?” Schroeder comes from a long line of racing geeks, and has won more than a few SCCA National Tours, Divisional Championships, and Solo II National trophies. He is the author of Volkswagen Sport Tuning for Street and Competition from Robert Bentley Publishers.
