Emotions impact any practitioner of dispute resolution; yet, there are very few programs with courses that explore the emotional side of disputes. Peter D. Ladd is a tenured faculty member and Coordinator of Advanced Studies in Counseling at St. Lawrence University. He has served as a mediator, conciliator, and psychologist for various organizations, including the Akwesasne Mohawk Reservation; and is the co-founder of the Northern New York Centers for Conflict Resolution. He is an accomplished author and teacher, and an active member of the American Counseling Association.
