Professor Caiazzo's grassroots effort offered the electorate "hope," but in the end "hope" was a failed strategy.

Tom Caiazzo is Professor of Political Science and the Statesboro Coordinator for the Social Sciences at East Georgia College, Statesboro (GA). He has taught political science for the past fifteen years. He and his family reside in Statesboro.
