Mark S. Davis is Chief Criminologist in Ohio's Office of Criminal Justice Services. He holds BA, MA and PhD degrees from The Ohio State University, where he occasionally teaches criminology. Grand proposals he has authored or coauthored have resulted in awards from the Bureau of Justice Assistance, the Bureau of Justice Statistics, the National Institute of Justice, the National Science Foundation, the Office of Criminal Justice Services, and the Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention. His research has appeared in the Journal of Criminal Justice, Social Justice Research, and Policing: An International Journal of Police Strategies and Management
