Penny Dale’s children’s books have sold more than four million copies, with editions in more than twenty languages. Her much-loved picture book Ten in the Bed sold more than one million copies worldwide and won an Oppenheim Toy Portfolio Award in 2002. She also illustrated Anne Fine’s The Jamie and Angus Stories, which won the Boston Globe–Horn Book Award. Penny Dale lives in South Wales.
