À propos de l'auteur

Barbara H. Roberts, MD, FACC, received her medical degree in 1968 from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland and did her residency at the prestigious Yale New Haven Medical Center from 1969-1971. After three years as a staff associate at the National Institutes of Health, Dr. Roberts undertook a fellowship in cardiology at Harvard University/Brigham and Women’s Hospital. Since 1977, she has had a private cardiology practice in Providence, Rhode Island. In addition, Dr. Roberts is currently director of the Women’s Cardiac Center at the Miriam Hospital and an Associate Clinical Professor of Medicine for the Brown University Program in Medicine. Dr. Roberts was named Physician of the Year in 2003 by the Rhode Island branch of the American Heart Association. She is married and has three adult children.
