À propos de l'auteur

Professor Diers has been on the faculty of the Yale University School of Nursing since 1964. She has taught research methods, nursing issues, health policy and information management and she served as Dean from 1972-1985. She has particularly taken leadership in defining and establishing clinical nursing research, advanced practice roles and nursing's connections to policy. She was Editor of Image – Journal of Nursing Scholarship, the official journal of Sigma Theta Tau International from 1985-1993. Her editorials and professional writing have appeared in all the major nursing journals and in many journals in other fields. Her popular public presentations in the United States, Australia and New Zealand, many of which are contained in this volume, show her unwavering commitment to nursing.
