Pharmacy Education: What Matters in Learning and Teaching is an essential resource for any pharmacy faculty member. Lynne M. Sylvia, PharmD-Clinical Pharmacy Specialist, Department of Pharmacy, Tufts Medical Center, Adjunct Clinical Professor, Northeastern University School of Pharmacy Lynne Sylvia s background is in large classroom teaching, facilitation of small group learning and preceptorship in the clinical setting. With 25 years of experience as a pharmacy faculty member, Dr. Sylvia has provided numerous national presentations on teaching issues and has published in this area. Judith Barr, ScD, MEd-Associate Professor and Director, National Education and Research Center for Outcomes Assessment, Northeastern University School of Pharmacy Judith Barr has a Master of Education (Doctorate in Health Policy and Evaluation) and 30 years of experience teaching in large classroom, laboratory, and seminar formats, as well as education-specific advanced pharmacy practice experience. Dr. Barr has also provided numerous national presentations on teaching issues and has published in this area. She also has extensive background in assessment.
