Dr. Patricia T. Herr attended Cornell University, where she received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree. She recently retired from a companion animal practice she and her husband, Dr. Donald M. Herr, established in 1964 in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. Dr. Herr became interested in the textile and decorative arts indigenous to southeastern Pennsylvania. Today she is a nationally recognized authority in this field and a collector, researcher, author, and antiques dealer.
