Once upon a time, coincidence, fate, and magic conspired to introduce three big dreamers--Mark, Karen, and Josh. And new friends became forever friends who, separately and together, use their creative talents to change the world a little bit at a time. Award winning author and photographer Mark Kimball Moulton was born and raised in Danbury, Connecticut, and graduated from the University of Connecticut with a Bachelor of Science degree in Horticulture. He is a seasoned traveler and avid outdoorsman who also enjoys renovating period homes. Mark's photography is available on greeting cards, calendars, candle labels, and as framed prints. He is also a contributing photographer for A Simple Life magazine. Currently, Mark has two gift books and twenty-two illustrated children's books to his credit including The Visit: The Origin of "The Night Before Christmas." Illustrator Karen Hillard Good grew up in the Alleghany Mountains near the wind and scenic Brokenstraw Creek. Here the most magnificent memories of her life were woven. She now lives in the foothills of the Berkshire Mountains in Northwestern, Connecticut where her and husband are renovating an historic house by two scenic rivers. She has illustrated calendars and several beautiful children's picture books. Visit her at karenhillardgood.com.
Debut author Josh Chalmers is C.E.O. of Earth 2 Company whose mission statement is to change the world before bedtime. The for-profit Earth2 designs socially responsible initiatives, products, and events and is built around three goals: collaborating with original thinkers who are committed to social impact and equity in their own businesses, sustaining a compassionate capitalism business model that mobilizes consistent support for non-profit partners, and boldly amplifying opportunities for big dreamers and entrepreneurs of color.
