Katerina Gorelik was born in a small city in Russia and now lives and works in Moscow. Katerina obtained a university law degree and worked as a lawyer, but after the birth of her oldest son, she decided to drastically change her life to do what she loves most--drawing. Since 2011, she has worked as a freelance illustrator. Then, in 2015, Katerina started making children's books. She is a mother of two children and is a great animal lover, which helps her come up with topics for her books. She is the author of the Curious Creatures series, which also includes What Do Animals Eat.
