Magnum photographer Patrick Zachmann was on the scene when the disastrous fire erupted in Notre-Dame de Paris cathedral on the evening of April 15, 2019. At the time he did not yet know that he would continue to document the events at the cathedral over the months that followed. À propos de l?auteur

Award-winning photographer Patrick Zachmann has been a freelance photographer since 1976. He joined Magnum Photos agency in 1985 and became a member in 1990.<br /><br />Olivier de Châlus is an expert in all matters Notre-Dame de Paris. In 2008, he joined the team of cathedral tour guides, which he led from 2015 until the fire of 2019.
