Barbara Ciletti fell in love with books at the age of three and dedicated her life to teaching children their importance. She has more than three decades of publishing experience, is the author of more than 25 books, and actively engages with children, teaching science, nature, and the art of bookmaking. Awards include Junior Library Guild, the ASPCA Henry Bergh Award, the Amelia Bloomer Award, and more. Combining her degrees in fine arts and education along with her background in animation and graphic design, she now researches and illustrates narrative nonfiction picture books.
