David Farland has worked in a number of occupations, including prison guard, missionary, business manager, technical writer, and pie maker. He now writes full-time. As Dave Wolverton he is the author of over a dozen novels, including three in the STAR WARS series, but he is best known for his epic RUNELORDS series. David Farland lives in Utah, USA.
